The Bordeaux glass is the perfect vehicle for Bordeaux- but also Brunello, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Rioja, Merlot, St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch, Shiraz, Cabernets (Franc and Sauvignon) and similarly styled red wines.

The height of the glass is 9.1 inches and it is 4.3 inches at its widest part. The volume capacity is 765 ml.

All Zalto glasses are lead-free. We recommend using a dishwasher rather than hand washing.

These beautiful and much needed glasses (for any priced wine - remember, quality not quantity or price and pretty much any wine one happens to enjoy) are IT!
My only concern has been their seemingly fragility.
At first I was afraid to touch them let alone use them, but I'm learning to enjoy them, take proper care of them and let "the chips fall where they may"!
I also purchased the Burgundy glasses and will probably have the same reaction, but I'll get over it - I'm sure they're every bit worth the the initial " jitters" as the Bordeaux glasses.
And, who doesn't want their wine to taste the best and way that it should!
