Zalto Denk'Art Balance Glass

The Zalto Denk'Art Balance does as it advertises; it brings balance to any wine.

The size of the surface area gives certain styles of wine the necessary space to develop, while the sharp conical side walls focus the aromas at a shorter distance than any other Zalto glass, allowing for more direct integration of the wine's characteristics.

Thus the glass harmonizes without distorting the underlying true character traits such as terroir, fruit, saltiness or acidity and tannin structure, while removing any foregrounding or dominance of individual flavor elements such as tannins or phenols and ensures, to risk saying it again, balance.

Recommended for wood-accented Chardonnay, wines made in the Jura style, skin fermented white wines, whole-bunch fermented red wines, wines with a maceration component, as well as complex sparkling wines with long lees aging and perhaps more oxidative elements. And, yes, this is your go-to glass for natural wines.

The height of the glass is 7.7 inches and it is 4.4 inches at its widest part. The volume capacity is 590 ml.

All Zalto glasses are mouth blown and lead free. We recommend using a dishwasher rather than hand washing, following proper handling techniques.
